Every FFS event is also a food drive. All of our food and cash donations go to the Good Samaritan Food Bank to benefit children and families right here in our own community. In 2012, we donated three tons of food and we hope to match or exceed this amount every year.
Canned foods (meat, vegetables, soup)

Have you always wanted to play a musical instrument? Foothill Folk Society wants to turn your dreams into reality with our musical instrument program. We provide a guitar and initial lessons to selected program applicants. Students will be assigned a mentor — a local musician — who will teach them basic guitar skills and instrument care. Once the student reaches the mentor’s expected level of competence, the student will be rewarded with possession of the instrument. Interested persons must fill out an application and, if approved, sign a contract agreeing to attend all lessons and practice regularly at home.
